The Horse Unit Study has been written primarily for the teaching parent with several elementary age children or, for an advanced Grade 7 or 8 student, as a supplement for his or her studies. The ideas and suggestions are extensive and all-encompassing, as it covers all academic subject areas of study and for varying grade levels. The parent will need to pick and choose topics, depending on the age and interest of the students involved. It is definitely a parent-guided study. Research will be needed. This unit study can be done through a full school year.
